Part of an ongoing series which examines the importance of the ground we walk upon. When we think of spaces of significance we often fail to remember the ground which allows us to be in that space. Without the earth beneath us to hold the objects and people that please us, nothing would exist. This project has moments of physicality while remaining wholly ephemeral. While a palpable object is created, the moment of its creation and the energy held between the clay and the space is transitory.
